Hyde Park Blast Featured on FOX19 – Watch the Video!

The excitement for this year’s Hyde Park Blast is building, and it hit the airwaves this week when members of the event team appeared live on FOX19 to promote the upcoming race on Saturday, June 28, 2025. But the biggest headline of the segment was the announcement that Evan Huey, a courageous young Medulloblastoma cancer warrior, has been named this year’s official Amblastador.

Evan’s story has inspired so many in our community, and his strength and spirit are the perfect match for the mission of the Hyde Park Blast—a community-driven event that combines fitness, fun, and fundraising to fight cancer. As Amblastador, Evan will not only help kick off the race but will also be honored throughout the day as a symbol of hope and resilience.

The FOX19 segment gave viewers a preview of what to expect at this year’s Blast, including cycling races, foot races, family-friendly activities, and the always-popular evening block party. With thousands of participants and supporters expected, the event continues to grow in size and impact—raising critical funds for cancer research and support services in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Having Evan at the center of it all this year brings a powerful reminder of why events like this matter. His journey represents the very reason the Hyde Park Blast exists: to uplift, support, and celebrate those facing the toughest challenges with unmatched bravery.

We’re so proud of Evan and thrilled to see him take on this well-deserved spotlight. A big thank-you to FOX19 for sharing his story and helping spread the word about an event that means so much to so many.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 28—you won’t want to miss this year’s Hyde Park Blast!
